This is going to be a short post.
I just wanted to outline the fact that men fight with each other. That is all.
I was at the gym last week doing my exercise plan and there were 2 guys working out with each other. One guy looked like he was gay,(don’t ask me how I knew this) the other straight.
The straight guy was spotting the gay guy.
The gay guy wasn’t too happy with the straight guy because towards the end of his set, the straight guy didn’t support him properly and almost left the weight go down on him.
It all came down to trust.
It’s a key error that would never be forgotten - in your toughest times and your darkest moments, it’s the people who are with you and support you that you will remember. Needless to say, the gay guy bitched him out like a hardcore Italian.
It’s not out of the ordinary for us guys to get into a lot of fights with each other. We’re human and we’re rowdy. Like if you’re really close with a bunch of guys and you don’t spend enough time hanging out with the crew, you’re going to get into big trouble. Everytime there is a hangout or get together and you don’t show up, you will probably be the first person that everyone talks about.
You have two choices to resolve Trouble in Bromance:
1. It’s either you rectify the situation OR
2. You walk away
Now if you rectify the situation, everything will be fine until your next screw up. Guys have short memories and forgive easily. But if you walk away, you have to be prepared for the consequences. Like in the Mafia, if you walk away, you get shot. If you’re from Harlem, and you walk away, you get shot. And if you’re from Mexico, well let’s not talk about Mexico, because strange shit happens there. But you get my drift.
Now that I think about it, the straight guy could have been gay and it could have been their times of the month. I’m sure they made up with each other over and over again.
WHOOPS.
