For those of you who have not heard of Susan Boyle, she is the latest celebrity to be spawned out of the reality show: “Britain’s Got Talent”
The reason she raised to stardom so fast and why people developed a liking to her was because she didn’t fit into the normal bucket people perceive as the next “pop star to make it”. But once she opened her mouth, everyone quietly retracted their judgments of her and lavished and enjoyed the experience that she was offering.
Other key facts about Susan Boyle were that she was currently unemployed, single and has never been kissed.
If you looked at the way she interacted on stage, you can’t help but notice how happy she is.
How can someone who has never been kissed or or in a relationship(I assume) be so happy?
Here are 3 reasons why I think Susan Boyle is happy.
1. Acceptance - She has accepted her life and the way she is. She knows that by being someone she will not allow her to be any happier than she would if she was herself. If she did try to be someone else, she wouldn’t be able to sustain the charade for a long time.
2. Substitution - Cats : she is considered a cat lady. She substitutes what she doesn’t have for things that she does have and finds happiness in them.
3. Purpose - She understands that there is a bigger purpose in life than the day to day hardships that people go through. She believes that converging and working towards her purpose it will let her obtain a sense of fulfillment.
If you have parts of your life that are not going as well as you would like it to, I would suggest following Susan Boyle in these three areas and you will see a drastic difference.

It’s still tough in a world where everything is geared to couples, but the good news is there are more and more single/adventure things to do in Toronto, than ever before.
Yes, I would totally agree with you V. Toronto is a great place to live in if you’re single. There are many attractions, events and festivals that go on in the city.
A person just has to expand their horizons and continuously be happy with themselves.

Susan Boyle has a great voice, no doubt about that. She was my first choice in American Idol and sadly she did not make it.
