Sometimes you will get to the point in the relationship where you feel that you can tell each other anything. It might take you a while to tell her that her voice is annoying on the phone or that she runs funny when jogging. Those are things that you can get away with and not be penalized down the road for bringing them up: they’re harmless things that a girl will push aside. One thing, however, that you should never bring up is her weight, especially if she’s gaining a couple pounds.
If you ever tell a girl that she’s fat or she’s gaining a couple pounds, this is something that she never NEVER will forget. You will find yourself in the dog house for eternity.
Here are 5 reasons why you do NOT want to call a girl fat:
- It’s not nice to point out someone’s flaws. Really, what do you have to gain by telling her she’s fat? Maybe a better way to point it out is to indirectly suggesting she eat healthier foods.
- It gives her the upper hand down the line to use against you. If she does something that is bad she can always get out of it by saying “But you called me fat”. You never want to give girls that power!
- It makes her feel insecure about herself. Do you want to contribute to her feeling poorly about herself? Absolutely not. You want her to feel the best she can about herself.
- If you call her fat, she’ll tell that to her friends. Then her friends will wonder why you’re calling her fat. When she puts her friends against you, it’s all downhill from there!
- Girls can change for the better. If you call her fat and she goes on a diet making her look like a hot model, she could end up leaving you.
