The Power of handshakes
Handshakes seem to be a universal sign of greeting. Any person, from any walk of life can meet someone by simply extending their hand to them.
If you think about it, it is quite remarkable. Imagine two people who have never met before cross paths. It’s the form of hand shaking that makes the connection to bring these people together, allowing two worlds to collide into one.
We shake peoples hands when we first meet them. Think about how many handshakes you have in a week, a month, or even a year. What number does that amount to? Think about taking that existing number and multiplying it. See how drastic your life changes!
I think it’s important to at least shake one person’s hand a day. A neighbour, a random on the street, the server at your coffee shop, or even the senior executive you always see in the elevator but never have the courage to say anything.
It’s important because you learn something new from each person you meet. Maybe it’s a thought, an idea, a new perspective, an unexplored gold mine, or a simplistic view of how the world really works.
Because in a world that spans multiple dimensions and transforms multiple subspaces, the people at the other end of the shake is your gateway to an adventure waiting to be explored and experienced.
So my take?…..keep shaking, keep learning……keep growing……….handshakes create lives worth living. (until you get hand cramps or arthritis, then the party seems to end)
