Guys, if you live in the city, not having a car isn’t that big of a deal. Pretty much any type of place that you want to visit is easily accessible in relation to walking distance or public transit. If you’re going out with someone from the city too it makes your life easier since you’re not that far apart from her.
The problem arises when when you live outside of the city and all the neat and hip places that you want to take your girlfriend to are all scattered around. It’s hard to go out with a girl when you don’t have a car in this situation. You want to portray the perception of independence and control. How can you do that when you’re stuck taking her everywhere on the public transit?
Some girls don’t mind that their boyfriend doesn’t have a car. While others put it in their top 3 requirements to go out with a man. If you’re a man with no car but has everything going for him, I’d say don’t worry about it. Look on the bright side, you could always pull the environment card and say that you’re doing your part for the environment. But if you have no car, no job and very warm seat and big imprint on the couch, I’d say you have something to worry about as no woman in their right mind would put up with that for a long time.
