A lot of women are attracted to guys who have nice cars. Can you blame them? Who can resist an object that is pleasing to the eye, fast, and makes you feel like you’re on top of the world. (And I’m not talking about the guy here) It’s really a great bonus if a guy has a sweet ride.
But is a guy totally helpless if he doesn’t have the money to buy a nice car?
For instance, if all a guy had was his metropass, how much game do you think he could run? Ie. How much could he impress his lady friend?
I think it depends on where you live, and this is the same in any place you live. If you live in the city, the odds are in your favour. If you live in the suburbs where the distance between places are so far apart, then you’re going to run into issues.
The City
As I said before, everything is very close together in the city. If you want to go dining, shopping at the mall, or catch a sports game, having your metropass has its advantages:
- Subway stops are pretty frequent and moving around the downtown core is pretty convenient.
- You don’t have to find parking and pay crazy prices depending on where you’re hanging out. Parking can start to add up depending on how often you go out.
- You can validate yourself in lessening your carbon footprint on the environment.
The Suburbs
Navigating to and from places in the suburbs is daunting and time consuming. Here are its disadvantages:
- The buses tend to run slowly and thus takes a lot of time to get where you want to go.
- You have no privacy when you take someone out.
- Public transit can be dirty and smell bad. Not a typical experience you want to go through during a date.
Conclusion
You can’t run that much game with a metropass. Move to the city OR be prepared to be a dweeb.
