What’s your opinion of Public Displays of Affection(PDA)?

kissPublic displays of affection or PDA for short is where you and your partner show your love for one another in public. Kissing one another, holding hands, groping, mild romping…..you name it.

In Toronto, for the most part, people are pretty conservative in how they show their affection to their partner in public. Maybe it’s different in other parts of the world, but from what I’ve noticed, couples just like to keep a low profile and not draw attention to anyone.

I don’t mind PDA as long as it doesn’t harm anyone. When two people love each other and want to show it to the world, I can’t get mad over that. I’m sure if you were in the situation and felt like showing the world how much you loved someone, you would.

PDA can get annoying at times, especially when people are drunk. Drunk people can get obnoxious in what they say and do.

The counter argument to PDA is that some things should remain private. You’re in a public space, where things like that should not be displayed. I’m sure people from different religions and cultures will have their own opinion and rules of what should be done in public. I’m of the opinion of  “if it feels good, do it”.
